Official Da Fit sleep guide
Da Fit sleep data missing? Improve recording and sync
If sleep data is missing in Da Fit, wear the watch snugly overnight, keep the sensor clean, reconnect the watch in the morning, and open Da Fit long enough for synchronization to finish. Sleep readings are estimates for general wellness, not medical measurements.

Before sleep
Help the watch record a complete sleep period
Wear the watch correctly
- Clean and dry the watch sensor and your wrist.
- Wear the watch about one finger above the wrist joint.
- Keep it comfortably snug so the sensor stays against the skin.
- Make sure the watch has enough battery for the full night.
Avoid conditions that resemble awake time
Frequent movement, a loose strap, removing the watch, or a very short rest period can be interpreted as awake time. Sleep recognition depends on motion and sensor trends and may not match every minute of your experience.
Check the recording window
Many supported devices are designed to recognize the main overnight sleep period. On some models, sleep that begins outside the usual evening-to-morning window or short daytime naps may not be recorded in the same way.
Morning sync
Move recorded sleep data into Da Fit
Run a fresh synchronization
- Turn on phone Bluetooth and keep the watch nearby.
- Open Da Fit and confirm the watch is connected.
- Keep the app open on the Today page while data finishes syncing.
- Refresh the sleep card after synchronization completes.
The watch recorded sleep, but the app did not
Restart the phone Bluetooth connection and reopen Da Fit. If the watch is disconnected, use the official connection troubleshooting steps. Avoid removing or resetting the watch before data has synchronized because unsynced history may be lost.
Sleep data stops syncing in the background
Allow Da Fit to run in the background and remove battery restrictions. Some Android phones stop Bluetooth synchronization after the screen turns off. See the Da Fit background permission guide.

Why sleep stages can differ from how you feel
Understand smartwatch sleep estimates
The watch estimates sleep and wake states from available sensor and movement patterns. Strap fit, movement, skin contact, device model, and firmware can affect the result. Compare multi-night trends rather than treating one reading as a clinical conclusion.
When to contact support
If no sleep is recorded across several complete nights, provide the watch model, phone model, Da Fit version, wearing photos, and screenshots of the missing sleep card. Email service@dafit.life.
